To us, studying the Bible is vital because it not only instructs us intellectually, but also guides us spiritually. We believe it and accept it as God's Word to us - a Book that is alive and relevant to life today.

Prayer Ministry - Sunday Mornings 9:00 am - 9:30 am

At SCWC we do not believe that prayer is "a ministry" of the church but "the ministry" of the church. Our goal is not to be a church with a prayer ministry, but a praying church. Under the leadership of our praying Pastor, we strive to create varied opportunities for SCWC participants to make our congregation a house of prayer.

Men's Ministry

The purpose of the Men's Ministry of SCWC is to fellowship with all our brothers in Christ and at the same time learn more about God's Word. To that end we endeavor not only to spend time together having fun, but also in reaching out to our community and to each other.

Women's Ministry

SCWC Women's Ministry purpose is to enable ladies in our church to grow in fellowship, missions, ministry, evangelism and discipleship in order to expand the Kingdom of God.

Music Ministry

The Music Ministry of SCWC offers worship opportunities for all people. The greatest desire of the music ministry is to help others worship more fully through music and to enhance their worship experience each time we're together as a family.

Youth Ministry

Today's teens are faced with more challenges and higher expectations than ever before. We're here for more than just a good time. Our focus is on being real, walking what we talk, and living life in a way that tells the world we are striving to grow more like our Savior, Jesus Christ every day. Our goal is to help Middle and High School students to grow in wisdom, character and spiritual maturity so that they can reach out to their families, friends and the world with the message of the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Greeters & Ushers

Greeters and Ushers are like the fruit of the Spirit. The Bible tells us:

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law." Galatians 5:22-23

Greeters and ushers serve visitors, guests and church family alike, helping each person to find a place that meets their needs, offering a program, a friendly handshake, and a warm welcome. Our purpose is to serve those in attendance and to exemplify the fruit of the Spirit to everyone that enters our doors.

No matter who you are, chances are an usher or a greeter will be the first person you see when you arrive. We want you to know that your presence in worship is our reason for serving and we are glad that you are here. Greeters and ushers are a visible presence, representing the church as an intermediary between the needs of a specific person and the resources available through the church.

Outreach Ministry

The mission of SCWC's Outreach Ministries is to provide parishioners of all ages with opportunities to learn to help others, reflect the love of Christ in our dealings with others in our community and strive to make outreach a part of our daily lives. Children's Church - Sunday Mornings 10:00 am

Beyond having fun at church, our goal is to teach children about the love of Jesus and help them “to know this love that surpasses knowledge” (Ephesians 3:19). Through Bible stories, arts and crafts and songs, we will show children that they have a Savior who not only loves them, but has a unique plan for their life. In a cold and often cruel world, they have a Friend who they can talk to about anything and trust for everything. Serenity Christian Worship Center provides a fun and safe environment where children will be taught a God-centered view of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
